SANDCASTLES and RUGS

After the  heart breaking news yesterday ,of rugs being stolen so simply and easily from a class , in a church no less . . . . .
I was taking a pause from hooking  . . .and playing  yesterday in the sand instead with the little ones . . . .
what thrilling fun we all had . . .
a moat around it and a stick bridge to cross . . .
all of a sudden another child came along  . . .stood  . . .looking at the  children enjoying the castles and their pride at having made them all by themselves . . .
THEN . . .
suddenly he viciously stamped all over this majic kingdom of castle assemblage  . . .delibratly and meanly  destroying it all . . .
the children each cried . . .not understanding why he would do this and not join in . . .
His father said ''oh dont do that -thats not nice'' and that was all . . .

For some reason these rugs being stolen reminds me of this unhappy(obviously) little boy . . .
and his fathers ''thats not nice remark ''. . .
The creators of these 2 rugs  Norma and Linda ,suffer the  joy in hours of  making the rugs and then the heartache  and pain at someone in a split second wanting to steal from them . . .
A sickening story. . . .
