VALENTINES CUT OUT COOKIES

cup unsalted Butter-softened
1 ½
cups granulated SUGAR
1 Egg
1 ½
teas Vanilla Extract
½ teas Almond Extract
2¼
cups all-pur FLOUR
2
teas Bk Powder
1 teas
Salt
Preheat
Oven to 400 F
In
Mixer bowl cream
Butter and Sugar until light and fluffy
BEAT
in Egg
and Vanilla and Almond extracts
MIX: Flour,BK Powder and SALT and
ADD: to Butter MIXTURE-1 cup @ a
time-Mixing after each addition.
KNEAD
in a small amount of colouring if wanted.
DO
NOT CHILL
dough.
DIVIDE in ½ and on a floured surface
roll each ball of dough out to a
12’’ circle.
CUT out with cookie cutter dipped in flour to not stick.
BAKE
COOKIES on
cookie sheets for 6-7 mins. . .. or until slightly golden
.
NOTE
**They freeze well before decorating
ICING
in colours and decorate as desired . . . . . . ..
