I dont know why but . . . . this rose  SQUARE below  reminded me of 

the painted KNIT Relief by my dear friend and fellow rug hooker . . .and knitter . . . .Susan . .

These pieces were made for the Fund raising show at the Visual ART Centre next door to me . . . .held last week here in Montreal. . . .
