RUSTY BRICK DYEING

I love the beautiful rusts and yellows found in RUDBECKIA @ this time of year . . . .

each flower tells its own colour theory . . . .

I could never hook it so perfectly beautiful . . .

so . . .I just press it instead and watch the colours fade over winter  . . .

much the same as our rugs fade over time . . . .

be sure to use good acid dyes  . . .such as 

 Majic Carpet or Pro Chem . . .

not the Koolaid or RIT  . . .

if you want longer fade results that is. . . 

no sense in not putting the best into our precious rugs !
