            OLD MATCHES HOLDER

I have a collection of these type of bead works ,made I believe, on Indian reservations here in Canada,at least the new ones I have were . . .. I found this one in an antique store years ago . .  .

There is,in the center motif, a little space to put matches . .. I love these delicate little velvet things  . . .so does a daddy long legs I see here in the photo I took for this blog!

I am gone to the country for a sunny weekend  of dyeing and hooking!. . .
