HOOKING BACKGROUNDS- TEXTURES-VALUES and CHOICES

A couple of days ago I spoke about my fun hooking
TEXTURES in the BACKGROUND for my latest rug . . .
of course I couldn't find my camera  that day for photo samples but better later than never
-here are a couple to show my colour choices . . .which are all about
VALUE next to VALUE-
(which means the darkness to the Lightness of a colour)
and TEXTURES .
Each and every loop is pulled with LOVE, JOY and EXCITEMENT!!

The TEDDY BEARS are DARK BROWNS and the Lettering Bright colours. . . . . .the contrast seems to work . . . .

Finally I am daring to cut up those TEXTURES I have collected and can't bare to cut. . . .Its like quilt fabric-I have enough to make about 500 King sized Quilts . . . .and now I am a RUG HOOKER. . . . .
