CREATING that ANTIQUE LOOK !

One of my favourite Rug Hooking Books is by Cynthia Norwood and sold through Rug Hooking Magazine . . .

In  the back of the book is a free pattern of an old antique rug . . .and  here below is a FIRST RUG of Hélene Fortier of Québec City.

With little or no knowledge of how to hook a rug . . .and a good supply of cut wool . . .She used the free pattern as a start off point for her simple little antique looking mat.
